The jury of the international competition "STARTinART" has chosen the finalists
In 2015, the Art gallery "K35" is continuing the project competition "STARTinART", aimed at promoting young artists. The main objective of the contest organizers see the support first-time authors in their creative development and promotion of the art market. For the organizers of the project it is also important to attract the attention of a wider audience to contemporary art and young artists.
In 2015 the jury of contest of on behalf of the Director of the Art gallery "K35" Mary Sava and curator and collector Natalia Caras were chosen the finalists among 457 applicants from the CIS, Baltic States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The project participants have become a very younger (the age of the youngest was 7 years old) and young artists, including without specialized education, and authors with a significant exhibition experience and academic skill. The technique also proved to be extremely diverse: in the competition was attended by works of painting, sculpture, collage, drawing, photography, video, and 3D installations.
The exhibition of finalists ' works will be held in the Art gallery "K35" since 15.07.15 on 30.08.2015!
By tradition, the exhibition will be determined by one artist, winner of the project, whose work will be purchased in the collection of the Art gallery "K35", and also signed a contract to conduct a solo exhibition in 2016.
Art gallery "K35" appreciates the creative potential of those who sent applications for the contest and thanks everyone who participated in the project.
