Artist Sergei Andriyaka is known as one of the leading masters of modern watercolor painting. His artistic career artist began with works of oil paints gouache, tempera. He was engaged in mosaics, stained glass, etchings, painting on porcelain and enamel. No less important in his artistic formation played acquaintance with the cultural heritage of Western Europe. But his favorite technique always remained watercolor painting. The artist's work is devoted to Russia – to the unique charm of the old Russian cities, to attractive beauty of Russian architecture, arist was closed to the world of Russian nature. Here are temples, and cityscapes, Russian province and foreign countries, still lifes, interiors, loved by all flowers. The creativity of Sergei Andriyaka discloses to the viewer the beauty of the surrounding world. The artist continues the initiatives of his famous predecessors: Briullov, Savrasov, Levitan, Vrubel. He carefully preserves and creatively, from positions of today, develops tradition of the masters of classical multilayer watercolors in his art.
Sergey Andriyaka is participant of many Moscow, regional and foreign exhibitions (since 1985 were held more than five hundred). Creativity of the People's Artist of Russia Sergei Andriyaka is known and loved in Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, Japan, China and other countries. His works are found in major museums and private collections in the world.
