An exhibition halls of Moscow is a unique phenomenon. Originally they have been creating in different parts of the capital as an exhibition platform for representation of artists,who are not outside the official creative association. An exhibition halls are gradually transformed into a multifunctional leisure, creative, cultural and educational centres for people, living in the city. The tasks, facing of the exhibition halls are numerous:
– implementation curatorial exhibition and educational programmes
– work with local communities,
– expansion of creative industries,
– the introduction of new formats of cultural practices (programmes of the art – residences, environmental partnership projects, international network initiative). For the best achieve these goals, the department of culture of Moscow was developed the project by uniting the Association of exhibition halls.
