The gallery "LES" is located in the House of artists on Vavilova – the-spot with the legendary creative history, where for more than 20 years are workshops of famous Russian artists. From day to day happen here creative events and appointments, create new works of art passes the communication of artists, critics and collectors.
The main profile of the gallery in the first years of its activities was an art inheriting the traditions of the Moscow nonconformist art, the priority is painting. Nowadays, the vector of development of exhibition and commercial activities of the gallery has changed – we are increasingly turning to contemporary art, its new, unexpected, and experimental forms. So, the focus of our curators today – contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, installations, multimedia and many other forms of contemporary art. The gallery regularly hosts solo and group exhibitions of contemporary artists – among them there are as well-known names and as young budding authors.
The private collection of the gallery "LES" is represented a collection of works by artists who have long confirmed their high professional level (the works of our authors are in private and state collections in Russia and abroad). The fund of gallery also regularly updated by the works of young promising artists. The gallery "LES" participates in international cultural projects and social programmes, and regularly organizes events to raise awareness of a wide audience: film screenings, lectures and master classes of artists and art historians.
