The mansion was built in 1903 under the project of outstanding masters of Russian architectural modernism L. N. Kekushev. It was belonged to the old believer merchant family of Nosov. During the Soviet era it housed various institutions, the last of which was a dormitory and a kindergarten. The difficult process of "revival" of this monument of history and culture began in the early 90 – ies of the last century on the initiative of the Russian state youth library and the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation.
Currently is a youth historical and cultural center, which opened its doors to anyone interested in the history of Russian entrepreneurship, modern art style, a culture of the "Silver age". Here are the historical-documentary exhibition,which is dedicated to the family of Nosov and creativity of the architect L. N. Kekushev, thematic exhibitions of the museum- exhibition center "The History of domestic entrepreneurship".
