Since 1980, in the center of Moscow, in the Armenian side street is located the Museum "Moscow Lights". Dive into history of the city begins to the little park, located in front of the museum – the seigniorial houses of the XVII century. Here you can see the old oil, kerosene, electric lights, lined up in a row, they are the first to welcome the guests of the museum.
In the exposition visitors will find a lot of interesting things: Svetets with torch, hand and street lights, a variety of lamps and lighting fixtures, outdoor lighting control consoles, a large number of photos with views of the capital. One of the halls of the museum is dedicated to the electric clock.
In the museum archives are stored and printed materials on Illumination, stories of lighting , photos and drawings of various kinds of lighting, visual materials on the history of Moscow. Employees of the museum created an interactive fund consisting of household items that children are allowed to touch.
