The territory of Lyublino is part of the Moscow State Integrated Art and Historical Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve.
Russian Usadba of the 18th – 19th centuries are a many-faceted thing that has to do with the culture of Russian people. Of especial importance are usadbas located near Moscow (now in Moscow). They play a significant role in the architectural image of our ancient city and give Moscow that inimitable appeal.
One of such unique estates with palaces and gardens of the early 19th century is Lyublino, a former usadba which is now located in South-East Administrative District of Moscow.
Lyublino is a historical complex of buildings and gardens which dates back to as far as the time before the Great Fire of Moscow. It has miraculously survived until nowadays. Visitors coming here will learn about N.A. Durasov, an eccentric and hospitable man of that time, who kept open house for every guest, and feel a unique atmosphere of lavish parties and feasts that Durasov used to give in his mansion house.
