In Moscow it was opened an Academy watercolors and fine arts – higher art educational institution of a new type that has no analogues not only in Russia but also abroad. This is the first Russian University, conducting training on the new degree in Painting and fine arts.
Learning objective: to prepare highly qualified artist – generalist on the basis of fundamental academic training in drawing and painting and learning the various techniques of fine art. The training is designed for six years, VI course – diploma.
The educational process at the Academy watercolors developed based on the national artist of Russia, academician S. N. Andriaki teaching methodology, which is based on a joint, simultaneous completion of all assignments by the teacher and students. The basis of the educational process at the Academy watercolors and fine arts will become an academic figure. Academy students will master in demand in the modern world techniques of watercolor and oil painting, wall painting, iconography, mosaics, stained glass, Florentine mosaic, etchings, pastels, book graphics, hand animation, sculpture of small forms, ceramics, modeling and simulation of porcelain, painting on porcelain, majolica, miniature enamel, the basics of jewelry making, restoration of icons, graphics, architectural design, packaging design.
The program educational objectives of the Academy is built according to the classical method verified and training system that will allow the student to consistently rise to a high level of skill. For the successful development of the major disciplines in the Academy program ancillary objects of different areas: information and practical techniques, ornamentation, as well as the history of Russian and foreign art, history, religion and mythology, the history of costume and household items. At the end of each course students on two months leave from Moscow on creative practice in order to master skills plein air painting, landscape and architectural landscape, as well as complete copies of the works of the best masters of paintings and drawings by Russian regional museums.
One of the most important goals of the Academy – the revival of the most effective method of educating true masters: all course and diploma projects of students will work on real orders, carried out under the guidance of highly qualified teachers. This will give students invaluable practical skills in the production. Upon completion of the training Academy will provide all kinds of assistance to employment of graduates according to their individual abilities, vocational interests and aptitudes to work in specific areas of artistic activity.
The most important field of activity of the Academy is working with the regions. The Academy will not only prepare qualified cadre of teachers for regional art institutions, but also on an ongoing basis will provide them with methodological and organizational assistance in the implementation of the educational process, which will significantly raise the level of arts education in the rich talents of Russia. An important direction of activity of the Academy watercolors and fine arts – development of effective methods of teaching children of primary school age. One of them is already being tested in the schools of the capital.
Academy watercolors and fine arts today provides a comprehensive scientific and methodical work: studying the experience of teaching in the past and the best of modern techniques, developing training manuals on the full range of techniques and directions. You have already created a large number of unique educational and methodical manuals, videos, reprinted best textbooks of the nineteenth century.
Exhibition of students and teachers of the Academy watercolors and fine arts will be held in the museums and the main exhibition halls of Moscow and other regions of Russia and abroad. The Academy will conduct master-classes, test classes, music concerts, performances and exhibitions, which, in particular, it is planned to exhibit the unique works of the great masters of fine art from the leading museums of the world.
