The Museum of the Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia is one of the youngest museums in Moscow. It is no accident occurred in the structure of the Museum – panorama "Borodino battle": never been interrupted tradition of Russian heroism. The exhibition presents photographs and documents, equipment and personal belongings, various samples of equipment and weaponry – all chronicle of the heroic history of the country since 1934, when it was established by the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, to the present day.
Among the Museum exhibits many of the documents and materials from the family archives, donated to the Museum by the heroes, relatives, comrades, colleagues and friends of the heroes.
