Workshop – Gallery "Anna and Yuri Mirakov" – is a private gallery, located in the center of Moscow, which was opened in January 1999, by Yuri Mirakov, a member of the Artists Union of Russia and the UK. From the first days of the Gallery heads have focused on the promotion of works of Russian and Western art in the second half of the last of the twentieth century. Over the past years to the audiences have been presented numerous exhibitions of avant – garde classics and realistic art.
In 2003, the Gallery has signed a cooperation agreement with UNESCO Creative Center. The main purpose of mutual cooperation is to attract attention of the Russian and foreign public, state and private museums, art associations, foundations and media to implement jointly developed programs (art exhibitions, charity auctions, meetings of art and culture, and so on ). Gallery has a large collection of works of art of different genres and styles – from classical to avant – garde, from antiques to works by contemporary painters and sculptors. With the Gallery Framing Workshop works with a wide range of moldings and mat, which can produce frames for paintings, drawings, photographs, posters and mirrors. In the selection of design is offered consultation of the expert. In 2009 the Gallery opened a studio of painting and drawing for adults. Classes at the studio are lead by professional artists with years of teaching experience. For each student teacher selects an individual approach to learning, which allows to reveal his creative abilities. Studio classes are held in the gallery surrounded by beautiful examples of Russian and Western European paintings and graphics.
