Among the most famous in recent years projects: “Giotto in Padua”, “City of Giotto meets Dionysius” (under the guidance of A. I. of Komech), “Hasten to do good. Dr Haass and his time”, “Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol. The soul of Russia the acquisition”, “Pushkin and his time”, “Disappearing masterpieces” (Foundation for the preservation of wooden architecture of Russia). In 2013 opened a book – illustrative exhibition from the collections of the library of foreign literature, timed to celebrate the 145 th anniversary of the birthday of E. Rostand (“it is clear that I sing to the world was clear!”) and the 700 – year anniversary of J. Boccaccio (“Seven centuries Decameron”).
In the framework of the project “the Artist and the word” was held exhibitions Lyudmila Grigorieva – Semyatichi (“Prophets”, “Point”, “the Poet and his soul”, “Russian literature on the couch” and others), Yuri Kosakowska (“Randism”), Lyudmila Volkova (“Rome Gogol, Gogol’s Petersburg”, “potters. An artist’s journey” and others), Julia Buguias (“Meeting with Dante”, “SILENTIUM”), Maria Anna (“Well, what to tell about winter”). A real discovery in the field of art were pictures of Victor Short, presented at the exhibition “Russia with love”,which was held in 2013 in Moscow and Sofia with great success.
Library for foreign literature traditionally held by the social work programme with children. For 8 years in December was held the exhibition of drawings of children – patients of our hospital. Exhibition center Library is engaged in a constant search and discovery of young talents. The support of young talents is one of the priority directions of its activity. A striking example – “the Eyes of a child” – an exhibition of works by artist Jeanne Makarova, enjoying great success in Russia and abroad.
