Catherine Iragi its activities began in Paris as an organizer of independent art – projects at different sites, and then in his own showroom in the Marais. Gallery mastered urban areas, hold special events, exhibitions, together with museums in France and Russia.
In 2008, the gallery opened its own premises in Moscow.
Also young French artists, mostly painters born in the 70s (Céline Berger, Iris Levasseur, Florence Reymond, Herve Ic, Karine Hoffman), is actively engaged in gallery Russian contemporary artists – conceptualists as already known in the West (Paul Pepperstein Arkady Nasonov Sergei Anoufriev Ivan Razumov) and promising authors (Olga Bozhko, Valeria Nibiru, Victoria Shumskaya). Gallery helps Russian artists to become part of the international art community, promoting their work in various art institutions.
Galerie Iragui represents local artists on the European art scene and promote their participation in international projects and integration into the world artistic process, as well as showcases the latest trends in the European contemporary art in Russia.
