Russian state art library (RSAL) is a repository of the values of Russian culture and art, a leading research and information centre. The Library has converted in 1991 from the oldest theatre library,and it is the main library that collects funds of literature on art and theatre. A library has made history a cultural history of the past and continues to play a significant role in humanitarian processes of our time.
