Gallery 11.12, formerly is known as the Art Quarter,which was founded in 2005 by Alexander Sharov. It is a unique place where works of art, which combines both the tradition of Russian realism, and tendencies of such tendencies in art of the twentieth century, as avant – garde and postmodernism. In 2010 the Art Quarter has become the first Russian art gallery which opened its branch in Phoenix, United States. Since September 2011 main gallery space is located on the territory of modern art center “Winery”. Another key event was the opening in August 2012 branch of Gallery 11.12 in Singapore.
Among the works of our artists, you can see the conceptual and avant – garde paintings of Maxim Basheva, expressive realism of Alexander Zhernokluev, realistic, but like “breathing” urban landscapes of Alexei Alpatov, metaphysical still lifes of Semen Agroskin, free and energetic paintings of Vladimir Semensky. Exquisite artistic language peculiar to sculptors gallery – Olga Muravina and Sergey Sobolev. Olga is committed to figurative art, and Sergei operates on the abstract form.
From the very beginning of the gallery, we actively participate in international art fairs, among which Art Chicago (USA), Art Expo New York (USA), Art Kyiv Contemporary (Ukraine), Art Moscow (Russia), Art Stage (Singapore).
