The organizers of the photo competition: Greek Cultural Center in Moscow, Centralized Library System, South-west of Moscow. Library named after Dante Alighieri, Photoclub "M-35" at the gallery "At Kashirka".
2016 year is declared the Year of Russia in Greece and Year of Greece in Russia. The program of the cross 2016 year are included joint activities in education, science, the arts, cultural heritage, sports and youth exchanges, teaching of the Greek language in Russia and the Russian language in Greece.
In this regard, we are pleased to announce the launch of the International Photography Contest "Greece: my moments of happiness", organized by the Library named after Dante Alighieri, the Greek Cultural Center and photoclub "M-35".
We invite you to take part in the competition! Works are accepted from 1 of January to 30 of September 2015.
STATUS OF COMPETITION
The main objective of the contest – by the artistic language of photography to tell about the history, culture, nature and urban studies, books and libraries, various spheres of life of the country and the people; to create a large mosaic portrait of the Hellenic Republic from the photos.
I. Objectives of the competition
– Promote the development of cultural relations between the Russian Federation and the Hellenic Republic;
– To introduce the Russians closer to Greece and its people, history, culture and literature;
– Promoting the art of photography in Russia and Greece;
– Support for beginners, amateurs and professional photographers.

III. Expected results
– holding of the International competition and determination by jury of the winners in the various categories;
– Conducting of photo exhibitions of finalists in Moscow and other Russian cities, as well as posting photos of the winners on the websites of the organizers of the project;
– Awarding all participants by certificates; finalists by diplomas; winners – by memorable gifts;
– Issue of the catalog of photos of the finalists.
IV. Conditions of participation
Photos must be taken in the territory of the Hellenic Republic.
The competition is open to residents of the Russian Federation, the Hellenic Republic, as well as representatives of any country in the world.
Is allowed participation of groups of authors, studio photography, editorial and other associations and organizations.
We accept only the photos taken by the participants. Applicants convicted of plagiarism will be disqualified and not allowed to continue to participate in the competition. Participation in the Contest constitutes acceptance of the author for the use of his work in photo exhibitions and in the catalog on the Competition results, on the websites of the organizers of the competition. Authorship is saved and is specified during exposure of works and printing in the catalog.
The fee for participation in the competition will not be charged.
V. Requirements to photos
To the competition are accepted photos in electronic form sent to the e-mail of the Competition [email protected] in jpeg format with a minimum resolution of 2000 pixels on the short side.
The maximum number of works from one participant – 5 pictures. The statute of limitations of photos is not limited. Processing in graphic editors is allowed.
The authors provide information about themselves in the following order:
– Surname, first name, middle name (in full) and the age of the participant (or name of the organization of participant);
– Photo title, date and place of its creation;
– The country and region of residence (location) of the participant;
– Experience in photography;
– Number of mobile and / or telephone, e-mail address;
– Other information at the discretion of the author.
Photos may be rejected from the Competition in the following cases:
– Discrepancy of competition theme;
– Low artistic or technical quality of performance;
– Photos, in which one can recognize elements of violence, racial or religious intransigence.
VI. The procedure for conducting
Stages of the contest:
1) reception of works for the competition from 1 of January to 30 of September 2015
2) the selection of works by the competitive commission, conclusions, determining the finalists 1 to 31 of October 2015
