Ivan Zholtovsky is one of Moscow's most interesting architects of the first half of the XX century, actively working in the style of a retrospective review and remaining faithful to him throughout his entire career. His buildings – the mansion of Tarasova, a cinema "Victory", the House is on Mockova street in Moscow, – and tended to neo – Renaissance and Neoclassicism, were landmark buildings of Stalinist architecture. Masterfully interpreting Palladian palaces and villas, Zholtovsky has endured the findings of the Italian architect in the building with perfect other functional tasks. In his workshop the Zholtovsky managed to cultivate a taste for neo-Renaissance of the numerous pupils and to educate the whole galaxy of talented architects.
Denis Romodin has graduated of Moscow state aviation Institute,he is a doctor of political Sciences,and also is a member of the Union of historians of Russia. He is an author of articles about Moscow architecture of the XX century, published in the magazine "Big City", "Bill", "Moscow heritage", "Address Moscow". Party regional conferences and consultant on the history of Moscow architecture of the twentieth century in TV's "City walk", "Born in the USSR". Author and curator of the Internet is a project Sowar.
