Park of Gorky – the central park of the capital, with the attendance of more than 20 000 people during the week and 100,000 on weekends and holidays. Since 2011, the park sets new standards, becoming the first park of world levelin Russia, space for recreation, sports, dance and outdoor games. Founded in 1928, the area – 119 hectares. Name M. Gorky Park was awarded in 1932. Chief architect of Central Park, performed in the late 20-ies of XX century parterre layout of the park – from the entrance to dull garden, is the architect of the avant – garde K. Melnikov. Today is not a boring garden and nature reserve "Sparrow Hills" is part of Park of Gorky.
