The house, built in the late XIX century, unusual for the time. It is known that his first owner was a native of Finland Maria Oswald, and motives of the Northern architectural style to blend in with the look of the estate near Moscow: open sevenfold veranda with a conical roof, rich carved architraves, high Foundation. Prishvin had bought the house in 1946 and since then held it every summer.
