The Glaz Gallery was founded in 2002 and since then is one of the leading Moscow galleries dealing with photography. The gallery’s funds consist of an impressive (more than 4000) collection of well known Russian and international artists. The gallery specializes in contemporary conceptual photography, works by key photographers of the Soviet era can also be found there.
The gallery also tends to choose notable young Russian photographers and help them meet viewers and collectors. The gallery sees them as a new face of Russian photography. Gallery is participating in various Russian and international art fairs, including the major photography fair, Paris Photo.
At Cosmoscow the gallery will present works by Tim Parchikov. He was born on 1983 in Moscow. He graduated from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (2006, cinematography) and from the Screenplay and Directing High Studies (2009, directing). He is the winner of the Kandinskiy Prize (2013, Best Young Artist nomination). His solo exhibitions were held in many Europe cities; also he took part in a lot of international group projects.
