State Museum of Oriental art, Information office of Beijing municipality, China national film Museum 14.05.2015 is presented the exhibition "110 years of Chinese cinema" (Moscow, VDNH, pavilion №13)
The exhibition will be opened for visitors since 14.05.2015 till 16.08.2015 year.
The ambitious project will acquaint the Russian audience with the history of Chinese cinema from the era preceding its appearance before the blockbusters of the XXI century. In addition to numerous film posters, models, costumes and props on display will include interactive and multimedia technologies: 3D reconstruction of scenes from cult films; posters with built-in monitors; the scenery, recreating the interior of a Chinese worker's club 60 – ies; interactive for children (making fans and mini – cartoons), and more.
The story of the cinema of the middle Kingdom begins with the II century BC – it was at this time appeared a shadow. According to the legend it was invented by one of the officials of Emperor Wu. He carved a doll resembling his late beloved Emperor, whose "revived" the shadow was able to comfort Wu and return it to the desire to rule the country. In the X century BC appeared first device that creates the illusion of moving images. It was a paper lantern, the cylinder of which were painted various paintings. The heat burning inside the lamp, resulting in his movement, allowing you to demonstrate simple stories.
The development of cinema of China is closely related to another ancient art form – Opera, subsequently found their reflection in the movies. So, the first film "The Opera. With the help of 3D photo and layout visitors will be able to look oBattle of mount Dissonant" (1905) was loosely based on a classic play of Beijing n the set of this film. In 1931 came the first sound picture "Singer Red peony". At the same time, the cinema of China is starting to turn to the topic of Sino-Japanese and liberation wars. This tragic period will have a special place in the exposition.
Since the establishment of the people's Republic of China (1949) the cinema is experiencing unprecedented growth. Today in China there are about 25 thousand cinemas, operate and develop the numerous Ukrainian film production film studios and locations. An important role is played by the film industry of Hong Kong and Taipei.
The exhibition will recall the legends of world cinema, as Van Gangmei (1914 – 1987), Hu De (1908 – 1989), Yu Lan (R. 1921), Mei Lanfang (1894 – 1961), etc. Many of them are familiar to Metropolitan audiences documentary tapes of Soviet Directors, and participation in the Moscow international film festival.
