Non – profit gallery "Red October" has opened on 4 September 2012 on the territory of the former confectionery factory "Red October". The gallery occupies the space of the Chocolate shop in which you saved the authentic cast – iron columns and floor tiled floor. The activities of the gallery aims to promote contemporary art and the realization of art projects that meet international standards. The location of the Red October on the arrow Marsh island capital, as well as a huge area of the exhibition space, more than 1500 square meters, are the key to a successful exhibition of the gallery. The organizers of the project are known gallery owner Vladimir Ovcharenko and the group "Guta".
