We invite You to the Museum Association Moscow city Museum for the permanent exhibition "Ancient and medieval Moscow".
The exhibition tells of the settlement of the Moscow region the Slavs, the appearance of the city, the growth of its territory and change of its appearance, the life and culture of medieval Moscow.
The exhibition is presented a rich archeological collection of the Museum: formerly known Antiques, as well as completely new works. First time for example, Golden Kachina bowl and a large black-glazed pitcher "Good man Gregory Afanasieva" are exhibited.
The most complete picture of the historical past of Moscow and Moscow region reflect the plans and maps of Moscow, picturesque and graphic works of A. M. Vasnetsov, a collection of early printed books of the XVII century, models, sculptural reconstruction.
