“The white crusade, you have found your chronicler” is the exhibition called a string of Tsvetayeva cycle “Swan mill”,which is dedicated to the White army. In the former “officer” the attic of the apartment are collected objects of everyday life of the Civil war and war communism. Photos of Tsvetaeva and her husband -Sergei Efron, the generals of the White army and paintings of life in contemporary Moscow give an idea of the years of the tests performed by the spouses apart. A peek into the inner world of the poet help stylized manuscripts of the poet extracts from notebooks Tsvetaeva. Detailed annotation tells about events of life of the family in 1915 – 1922.
In the former kitchen converted into a spacious exhibition hall, an exposition dedicated to the family Durnovo – Efron. The exhibition “The Poet and time” is located in the great hall opposite the Memorial, is a logical addition to the materials it presents. It tells about the life and career of Tsvetaeva, illustrates literary and socio – cultural context of late 19-th – first half of the 20-th century, reveals the scale of the poet’s personality and its importance in Russian culture, allows better and more fully present to her family and literary environment.
The exhibition starts with the family history, the origins of the genus. Photos I. V. Tsvetaeva’s father and mother – M. A. Mayne and grandfather, A. D. Mein, brother Andrew, and sisters Valeria and Anastasia. Books D. V. Tsvetaeva, the image of the family coat of arms < / b>, family things. The Museum of Fine arts – “huge younger brother” Tsvetayev sisters – presents old postcards with pictures of rooms, copies of Museum publications with autographs of I. V. Tsvetaeva, commemorative Museum.
Stay in Europe since 1902 till 1906, the trip to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, life on the Italian Riviera in the town of Nervi, studying in a French boarding school in Lausanne, Switzerland and in the German boarding school in Freiburg illustrate postcards with the sights of these cities.
